This secession talk is foolishness. We are either Americans and trust the constitution or we don’t. Our country is not some sandbox in a playground. You don’t get to pick up your toys leave and still call yourself an American. You have the freedom of speech and the right to organize and express your disapproval, honor that. Scream and yell all you want, Lord knows us progressives have and did for a long time.

That entire process of voting, of voicing our opinion, of having disagreements and winning and losing, that is America at its best.That is why we are American’s. We value the freedoms we have and we fight for our views on how we want our country to be led. That is what makes us Americans. Putting your tail between your legs and running from the battle with hope of secession, that is cowardly, clearly not patriotic. Clearly disrespectful to those who have fought for this union and fought for our freedoms.So stop this foolishness.

If you put your name on this foolishness, remove it. It doesn’t belong there if your an American. You understand when your party loses you have to retreat and refocus and look for new ways to move your message forward.It is the American way to for us to argue over politics. we do it with our friends, with our families, but we never challenge the strength of the Union.

We never question the patriotism of the other side or their loyalty to the cause of freedoms we all embrace here in this country.As an American, it is pure foolishness to be party to secession, it slaps every dead soldier in the face, for the cause they died for. It slaps every living soldier in the face for the country they have dedicated their lives for.
